Philip Harper

Philip has been involved in the financial services industry all his working life.

He escaped from the monotony of pen pushing for a major life assurance company in 1980, when he was offered a position within the company's sales network, based in the west of London. From here, after enjoying many successful years, he moved into the field of insurance broking where he began to acquire his knowledge of independent financial advice, heading a life and pensions department. The next progression was his formation of a new company which was directly responsible for advising clients of a Berkshire based firm of Chartered Accountants.

In 1991, Philip took the major step of forming his own practice, Financial Management. The firm has developed from strength to strength and continues to prosper thanks to its support by loyal and friendly clients.

Away from his business, Philip devotes his spare time to his family and sporting interests. His wife Janet and their two children, Ben and Jessie live in Penn, Buckinghamshire. When given permission, Philip can mainly be found playing golf, squash or tennis and on the odd occasion, might even be seen enjoying a pint of real ale.
